The HSSA is an add-on for our standard air actuators, providing increased air or helium flow for the fast actuation required in microbore chromatography or partial loop injections. Normal switching time for a C6W with 100 psi air is 180 ms. With the HSSA that drops to 20 ms; substitute 100 psi helium and the valve switches in 8 ms.
The HSSA is usually used in conjunction with a DVI (digital valve interface).
